Website Accessibility

Peace Community Counseling strives to make this website accessible and easy to use for people with disabilities. We work to follow recognized accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and we continually look for ways to improve the accessibility and usability of our website.

Physical Accessibility

Peace Community Counseling is located in a historic, 99-year-old home, turned office building. The counseling office is located on the second floor and is currently accessible only by stairs. The building does not have an elevator, and there is currently no ramp providing step-free access to the entrance.

We recognize that this may create a barrier for some individuals. When available, Peace Community Counseling can offer sessions on the first floor of the building. We may also be able to provide sessions in an accessible outdoor setting at a local park, when appropriate and mutually agreed upon.

If you have accessibility needs or concerns about getting to the office, please reach out before scheduling so we can discuss available options and determine what arrangement may work best for you. We welcome the opportunity to work with you to identify an accessible option whenever reasonably possible.
